According to the manual and book the ModuleCommunicationEventArgs allows the passing of objects rather than simple string but when I pass anything other than a string it complains that it needed a string. Can anyone clarify the problem. Thanks.

you can pass objects, theres a couple of tutorials @ http://www.kodhedz.net/Default.aspx?tabid=38 and http://www.dnnstuff.com/Modules/MiscellaneousSamples/tabid/240/Default.aspx that should help get you started. As far as I remember you have to set the [TYPE] to the object you want to listen to.
