Hi. Let me start by saying that im complete beginner in programming in the ASP.NET environment. Im currently creating an ASP.NET application as a project at college using Visual Studio 2005. My problem is that  I cant get C# and VB.NET to work together (I program in C# and the rest of my team program in VB.NET).

I have the following in my web.config:

<compilation debug="true">
   <codeSubDirectories>
    <add directoryName="VBCode"/>
    <add directoryName="CSCode"/>
   </codeSubDirectories>
  </compilation>

I can access VB classes from the C# classes, but strangely, I cant access C# classes in VB. VB cant even pick up namespaces created in C#. How do I get VB to read from C# classes?

Using the code subdirectories they are built in order, thus VBCode is built first, and then CSCode is built after that.  That is why CSCode can reference vb but c# can't reference vb, it is an interesting "feature" of ASP.NET

So how do I get past this? How do I get both VB and C# to reference each other? Sorry for the late reply...

Move everything to Dll's outside of the web project if possible, then reference the dll's in your website.
