Hi Antonio – and others.

Just done the DNN Blog tutorial, and everything seemed to be working fine.

I then noticed the latest upgrade of the blog module, so I updated and installed another blog at a different portal:
Page: Blogging & Chatting

I have a “moderator” security role, and I have 2 user assigned to this roles, but the “New Blog” module doesn’t display for the Moderators.

I went in and ticked “Registered Users and then it displays, but it does display for any registered user???

Where am I stuffing up Antonio?

Cheers…

Olle….

The latest update should not be resulting in this as it does not have any code changes; just a minor change in an .ascx file.

I would suggest you go over your settings just one more time to make sure you have set it up properly.

By the way, which version did you upgrade to and from which version?

Thanks Antonio

Problem Solved – but in case it might be of help I give the details.

When I assigned the security role to the user, I used today’s date. The date on the portal is set to local time, but it didn’t pick it up anyway.
When I changed the Effective date to the 12th it worked right away.

Also:
If the image is viewable you will see the “Blog-List” Module without container.
It narrows down to less than half of the Right Pane with, and the width of the search Module underneath?

Is there anywhere I can set the with on the module?

Thanks again

Olle..

PS. The Insert Image button just gives me a Server Error / Runtime Error???
