I would like to upload a movie (mpg) to my gallery, but I receive the message that this is no allowed file type.
Is it possible to change this in a way to run this files - or to define own file types?

I've noticed that adding it there isn't helping immediately due to cache reasons. This creates a bit of an inconvenience (not a huge one, but still...) and the whole idea is not clear from the setup screen on Gallery module. One would need to be rather proficient with DNN to figure that out.

And I agree with that, as well as I agree with sticking with framework design. I am only saying it's not obvious to someone not familiar with DNN - so, if you were to put a little "Tip: To change or add allowed file types, use Host Settings page" or something liek that, it would make it more obvious to users. That's all I was saying :) (In addition to cache issue, of course)
