How do you keep consistent containers across controls within your module?

What I mean is ... it only seems like setting the container works for the home control (.ascx), but once you navigate to your edit, or settings control, the container changes to the portal default container.  How can I maintain the container setting from the home control to others?

Pardon my ignorance, I've been developing modules for about 16 minutes now (an exaggeration).

You'd have to load the controls dynamically. The admin skin and container are applied when Edit is used.

The problem is that in DNN only the VIEW container element of a module uses the PORTAL SKIN - EDIT/SETTINGS etc are forced by DNN to  use the ADMIN SKIN.

There are a number of historic reasons why this is the case - and they are not likely to change anytime soon.

If you want the same look across your module you have a couple of options.

1. Instead of using seperate ascx files for each element - build all the pages into a single asxc and handle the page switching yourself.
Have a look at the core signin module for an example of this - frankly its the most simple solution.

2. create a parent module container - and handle the loading of your individual controls dynamically - this really very similar to the page switching option above except the code for each control page is in its own ascx.
