Hi,

has anyone else experienced this problem? When clicking on any of the links in my Repository dashboard, it takes me to the Parent portal's home page. I'm running DNN 4.5.5. with the latest Repository version. I've also got more than one repository loaded on my site, although I dont think that is the problem.

Any assistance would be greatly appreciated

Thanks

Julian

I think that's a new one :)

if you can provide some more information, maybe we can help you. simply saying something doesn't work isn't the best way to ask for help.

- exactly which version of the Repository are you running. I know you said 'latest' but is that the latest release? or latest development build?
- is the dashboard on the same page as the Repository it's related to? or a different page?
- what 'mode' is the dashboard set to?
- have you verified that the dashboard has been associated with the proper Repository?
- has the Repository been moved from one page to another? or deleted and recovered?
- when you click on the Dashboard item and the home page is displayed, what is the URL in the address bar?
- are there are errors in the log?
- does the error happen all the time? only when you're not logged in? only when you are logged in?
- are there any security restrictions to the page or repository module that might prevent someone from viewing the page?

Hi,

- I'm running version 03.01.13 (install package)
- The dashboard is on the same page as the repository, although I have 2 repositories with 2 dashboards on the same page, however only one dashboard/repository is visible at any given time, depending on user rights.
- The dashboard is set to display the highest rated downloads.
- Yes, since I have more than one repository, I took extra care to associate the right dashboard with the right repository.
- The repository has not been moved as such, although I do have 2 pages that the repositories appear on. The one page is a "Refference" of the original
- The URL displayed when clicking on a link is that of my host(parent) portal.
- I have not checked the log, I supposed I should have, but I didn't, I will though and let you know if there is anything worth mentioning.
- The error does happen all the time.

I'll post more information as I come accross it, since I'm still in the process of trying to fix this problem.

thanks

Julian

Hi,

I've checked my site log, and there doesn't seem to be anything with regards to my Repository or Repository Dashboard. I've upgraded my Repository module from version 03.01.13 to version 03.01.14 but that didn't help either.

I suppose I now have to start going through the code to see what the problem is. If anyone has any suggestions on what to focus on, it would be greatly appreciated.

If I do happen to come up with a resolution, I will post my findings here, incase someone else is having the same problems.
