Hi All,

I'm running DNN 455 with Documents Module v3.01.06

A client would like to change the default visibility for several of the Columns to Not Visible.  Is this possible and what file do I need to modify?
I searched the forums and couldn't find an answer to this one.  Please forgive me if the answer is elsewhere on the site!

Many Thanks,
Kelly

Kelly,

Without digging into it deeply I would imagine that it is done via the "EditDocumentsSettings.ascx.vb" file.  You would just need to modify the values after a new instance of the documents settings info to set your new default values.

Thanks, Mitchel.  I'll see what I can do.  You're helping me on another issue on the forums at the moment, too.  Just wanted to say thanks for taking the time to answer posts from the forum and for sharing your knowledge with less experienced users.  It is greatly appreciated!!!

No problem, I just try to help out where I can.

If you need specific help with what you are doing, send me an e-mail and I'll see what I can do for you.
