Hi, I've just finished a new DotNetNuke site on my local machine and want to deploy it to the web site server. I transfered all files with FTP and creted a new SLQ Server 2005 database with Helm control panel.

This leave me with an empty database on my web server and don´t know how to transfer my local database.  I can manage both the local and the remote databases with SLQ Server Management Studio but cannot execute Restore or Attach commands because I don´t have the permisions set.

Is there a method or tool to transfer all DotNetNuke data to a remote server or synchronize both database contents?

Thanks

SqlServer 2000 used to have and import/export feature I suppose 2005 should have it too.
You can also explore a tool like RedGate DataCompare/SQLCompare (I couldn't live without since I tried those!).

In either case remember to update the PortalAlias table to reflect your new domain when installed in the new server.

Yes, I was looking for that feature too but I´m ussing the Express edition and couldn´t find it anywhere. I´m going to try the Red Gate's solution, I used it in the past and worked fine.

Thanks for your prompt response.
