Hi

I’m setting up some Forums, but have problem getting started.

Do we have some manuals or instructions for forums???

Which one is the better one:
DotNetNuke Default Forums?
Active Modules “ActiveForum”?

Have a great Friday….

There is no doubt that Active Forums is a very good module. The big question is how close the new DNN forum module will come to it.

I second the endorsement for Active forums over existant ,and non-existant, versions of the house forum. The documentation is certainly better, and you'll probably even find that you don't need the documentation.

A very good point!  I've heard that Will provides very good support as well. I haven't had a need for a strong forums module yet but have a project on the boards that will. Another major plus for me is the Private Messages module from Ventrian connects to Active Forums but not the core forum module.
