I'm in big trouble, I tried to upgrade from 3.2.2 to 3.3.7 and then to the latest version, hell it worked, I need to revert to 3.2.2. asap but my company's backup system failed on me! So All I have is 3.2.2, the DB backup, and the web.config I backed up on my own.... I overwrote the 4.4.5 stuff with a fresh version of 3.2.2 (install version)., I deleted all newly created files from the (4.4.5) and I placed the old web.config in the app's root folder

Since the update doesn't really touch DesktopModules and Skins, I thought this way I could possibly restore it. However, while the skin and admin page loads and works, and the page structure is shown, none of the custom made modules are loaded. I mean the pages are all there, the references to the modules are in the DB...

anything I'm missing?

are you sure, that not default modules are missing? you might need to check compatibility of new module version with previous DNN version. Besides, you should remove new files in /providers/dataprovider/sqldataprovider.

thanks, the problem were the cache settings.. Set caching to none, browsed around a bit, reactivated caching. Works now...
