I have set up DNN, and it work great when I am on the host machince.  But as soon as I try to navigate to the site for another machine it redirects the browser to the the URL http:\\localhost\DotNetNuke not http:\\webserver\DotNetNuke

All I have changed is what I am told to do in the Helpfile.

Please any help will be apprcitaed

if you originally set up DotNetNuke using l,ocalhost and now want to access it from other pc, you need to enter the external address as additional portal address:

  • login as superuser ("host")
  • go to Portals in Host menu
  • select your portals
  • scroll down settings page to the far end
  • add the new address as alias.
