Hi all,

I have successfuly created a module using Visual Studio 2005 and DNN version 4.4.1.  I am trying to package the module to deploy elsewhere and I'm using Michael Washington's "Packaging your Module" tutorial.  According to the tutorial, I am supposed to see an option - "Create Module Package" from the Module Defination menu but I do not see that option in my DNN installation.  Can someone kindly point me the right direction from here?

Thanks,

Nanfa

This usually happens when the module definition has the folder name incorrect. The module will work but the package link wont work. Check the module definition carefully.

Thanks Michael!

That was the problem.  I specified the correct folder and it flew right in.

Also, thanks for taking the time to write all those helpful guides and empowering the rest of us blaze along with DNN!

im running into the same poblem here. i do not have the option to Create Module Package. i did check the definitions, and it is pointing to the correct controls. and i assume that is what was refered to in a previous post.

It is the folder in the module definition that needs to be fixed. The control definitions (that are contained in the module definition) are not the problem. That's why the module still works even though the folder is wrong.
