I've been trying to add my own tableadapters in my DNN site under App_Code, but I'm having trouble accessing those table adapters. I've created a test website to see whether they would work, and they indeed worked. When I reverted back to my DNN site, the table adapters are not recognized. For example, in my C# class in the namespace declarations (alonig with all the other System and DotNetNuke namespace declarations), I added 'using ExtranetTableAdpaters;' and in one of the functions I tried instantiating a table adaptor object so as to use the methods of the table adaptor, but get the error: 'type or namespace name 'ExtranetTableAdapters' could not be found (are you missing a using directive or an assembly reference?)'

Does DotNetNuke allow user-defined table adaptors to be created? If so, what should I do to get it working? Would you please provide an example.

have a look at this thread: http://www.dotnetnuke.com/Community/Forums/tabid/795/forumid/118/threadid/163581/scope/posts/Default.aspx (see Luca's danswer). The adapters seem to be working on his site.

Nevertheless, I did all the steps on my site and they are still not working - though I had it working in an earlier version... still struggeling.
