so that whenever you click login it redirects to http://www.thebrandomgroup.com/main/TBGConsultants/tabid/67/Default.aspx?returnurl=%2fmain%2fdefault.aspx

It seems he was trying to create a hidden page and toasted the site login somehow.

Is there a back door way to restore the login, as you can no longer login to get the admin or host prompts to try to re-login.

HELP!

John, I have done the same thing.  I went to the page you receommended but am not sure what to do.  This is what the page stated to do:

The problem is easy enough to fix by changing the setting back directly in your DB,  but some people don't have that luxury, or simply would rather not mess around in the database.

So now I have created a "window" where you can slip your hand in and put the knob back on your front door.

Download this "Open Sesame" page and upload it to the root of your website, then execute by calling it in the browser (http://www.yourwebsite.com/OpenSesame.aspx) .  All it does is update your DB for you to change the LoginTabId back to what it was.  Which should get you back to your login prompt.

The area I have highlighted in Red is where I am having troubles.  Any suggestions, this is all new to me...

Thanks, Cory

Hi Cory,

After clicking on the link from the post you should be able to save the zip file onto your hard drive.

After saving the zip file you can open it and extract the OpenSesame.aspx file.

Then the OpenSesame.aspx page needs to be put in the same folder as default.aspx page.
