I finally did it.  I created a portal w/a blank skin and didn't save the shortcut to my login tab.

Anyone know how I can find out which tabID is my login tab for a given portal?  Portal in question is DNN 4.5.5, and there are only like 2 tabs total.  I have a home page, and a login page, but I can't find the login page, b/c there are no links on the home page.  :-)

Thanks,

Vollerworld

I may be a moron, but I found it!

How, might you ask?  Wild guess.  I took part of the login URL from a home page on another portal and attached it to my problem domain URL.  It worked.

Thanks!
