no problem! - The actual DNN skinning docs comes in the docs zip file as a separate download - check this page: http://www.dotnetnuke.com/tabid/125/default.aspx

You will find a file called DotNetNuke Skinning - it's definitely worth a read and will help you get started.

This document is excellent. I'm surprised on how easy this is to do. Being a Photoshop, CSS and GoLive whiz, I will be able to build some really nice looking skins now (sorry for the shameless plug  )! Thanks again....

Dennis that's good news too. I've also go the Skinning documents converted to a CHM file - in dnn2 & dnn3 format. 'But I changed the DNN3 example in the current skinning document to an updated one which is available from my site. There's also a few free skins, and a video that introduces some of the elements of skinning that you might find handy.  Lee does have some information on his site too, so I'm sure that you'll find this will get you started.

I started with those documents that you have downloaded and found they were a good start, the CHM file is just easier to navigate in my opinion, than a pdf file.

Good luck, can't wait to see some masterpieces!!
