Would it be possible to change the Request Filter to give the option of doing a server.redirect instead of a response.redirect? I am using it to make site changes (new skins, playing around) and want to redirect to a "maintanance page" but I want to be able to turn the filter off and people be able to simply refresh and the site come back up (similar to how Digg and many other sites do when they roll out changes. As it stands now they just keep refreshing the HTML page that I redirected them to. Also is there any way that Request Fitlers could be allowed on the site level or at least allow the host to setup filters for sites. I do not necessarily want to block users from all sites on my install?

Sure.  Both of those items are doable.  Just enter a enhancement request into Gemini
