Hi, just upgraded to latest version of UDT. (thanks for help).

A column setup for dates no longer displays a date value. Instead it displays : DaAe o0 ixAure  it should be displaying: 10/08/07.

Any ideas?

Cheers

Rob.

this may be due to changed format, try to export, and import into a new instance of this module

Rob, did that happen during update? Before 3.4.0, UDT stored the date time values depending on the loalization of the current user. What happens when you edit that row and override the value?

I don't know what is inside the database, it would be very kind if you could change the datatype of that column to string, make an export and send me a copy to stefan.cullmann@dotnetnuke.com.

Thanks for the support. I have tried export, create new instance, import but no difference.

Then tried new instance, recreate table, type in new data, seems to work well.

This solves my problem, if I can help with further information to assist I will be happy to. For information, you can see the data on: http://www.lewesbridgeview-jfc.co.uk/TheTeams/Under10s/tabid/206/Default.aspx showing the data as text and the same data in date format on http://www.lewesbridgeview-jfc.co.uk/TheTeams/Under11s/tabid/207/Default.aspx to see how it renders.

I'm still creating this site for my lads football team so will leave these pages for a few days like this to see if it helps.

Cheers

Rob.

Hi, overwriting does not help.

Using the basic table before allowed for correct viewing, using the alternative table formats changed the format.

I have exported the data before change (IE in date format) and after change (in Text format) and will email these to you.

As above, I'll keep this data unaltered so that if I can help with testing I will.

Many thanks

Rob.
