I have DNN v4.0.1 installed, and it was working all fine, and all of the sudden I cannot log in with either, host or admin anymore. Shows this address in the address bar:

http://www.iloveok.us/portal/Default.aspx?tabid=36&error=The+Controls+collection+cannot+be+modified+because+the+control+contains+code+blocks+(i.e.+%3c%25+...+%25%3e).&content=0

and displays an error message:

Server Error in '/portal' Application.

The resource cannot be found.

Description: HTTP 404. The resource you are looking for (or one of its dependencies) could have been removed, had its name changed, or is temporarily unavailable.  Please review the following URL and make sure that it is spelled correctly.

Requested URL: /portal/Default.aspx

Has anyone any idea of what is cousing it?

I found a workaround when I searched login...basically tells you how to hack in a new password for admin...

new 3.2.2 install, can't login as admin or host Old Post
