not necessarily. Basically nVelocity uses reflection, so will not work in medium trust. Your choices are

1. if you have access to your own server , add the nVelocity dll's to the GAC (note: it will need to be versioned for that and have a strong name)

2. host your site somewhere that does not apply medium trust - off the top of my head I don't know any ISP's that do that, but i'm sure there are some, try posting a question in the forums.

3. rewrite your code so that it doesn't use nVelocity.

I've tried to add nVelocity to the GAC but it didn't help. I don't know GAC very well but I suppose that the caller is important in that case. The caller is unsigned as it uses DotNetNuke and can't be signed so it works like nVelocity wasn't in the GAC.
So it looks rewriting is the only option.
Thank you for advices

I don't know nvelocity well enough, but perhaps you need to add the APTC attribute - http://msdn2.microsoft.com/en-us/library/ms345097.aspx

I've tried APTC once some time ago but it didn't work. Maybe I did it in the wrong way or something. I'll try again. Thanks.
