Hi,

When I click the "Advance Settings" on all of my pages, the page expands and then automatically contracts, leaving me unable to edit the settings.  This also is happening on the Site settings page (and many more).  I believe I was on 4.3.5 previously when this first started to happen and I have since upgraded to 4.5.5, but it's still happening.

Thoughts?

Cheers.

Kevin

Kevin,

Which internet browser are you using?  Do you have any javascript included in your skin file?

Thanks for your reply.  I'm using IE 7.  The site was working previously in IE 7 but after an auto upgrade or a windows server upgrade, it has stopped working.

There is no JS in the skins.  It seems that it has something to do with security and roles.  I wonder if an upgrade hasn't updated the security tables and page access rights correctly.  There is code that runs on the page when the + is clicked (if __dnn_SectionMaxMin etc).  Perhaps this is the problem.

I'm a newbie in the dotnetnuke arena.  I've realied on the basics and haven't done much in terms of customization.  We have our own skin but thats it.

Thoughts?

Could you switch your skin out on a single page to one of the default DNN one's and see if it persists - just to rule out your skin

I can't edit the Appearance Section for the same reason as above.  When I click on the '+', the section expands and then reloads and collapses.  I have to beleive this is a security issue and possible related to Ajax.  Is the a SQL routine that can be run to update all page security settings? Just one thought. =)

Thanks
