Ok please refrain from hauling out the wiffle bat's.  I just want to ask a quick question.

I know no ASP.Net, so I am trying to make a skin with only HTML.  My question is this. As I understand it, from the Skinning Guide, all I need to create is an HTML page, set up as I would like to see my site, and an XML sheet, handling all the objects, sip that and install it?  Is that all, or am I missing something there.

The ASCX file, is that only if you are skinning it using ASP.Net? Thanx

Hi Yea thats pretty much it. A good way to start with would probably be to download a free dnn skin from somewhere and take alook at the files to see how there structured if you need more insight. Another tip from me would be to build the skin first as .ascx and then convert to html/xml afterwards (this is how i do it atleast, but each to there own). The reason i personally do it this way is to save time whilst building, as you can edit .ascx skin file live on the server (assuming you have access) and see changes/tweeks instantly, rather then having to re-zip and upload to see every little change. Hope this helps. Regards DrNuke
