I am trying to do my first installation. I have Web Matrix and Express Server however all the installation documention mentions IIS which I do not have. I gather that Web Matrix will do in its place. Does anyone know of any instructions on how to install DNN using Web Matrix rather than IIS please ?

I have XP Home which does not come installed with IIS.

Many thanks for your help

Unless I miss my mark completely, you can install IIS on your XP Home machine by going to the Control Panel and choosing Add or Remove Programs, then choosing Add/Remove Windows Components. Internet Information Service (IIS) is the 5th item in the list. The default install is fine. You'll need to restart your machine when you are done, and you'll also need to run the .Net Repair, which can be found at http://support.microsoft.com/kb/306160.

I do not know much about Web Matrix, but I have had success installing DotNetNuke on Windows XP Home in the past.  I did it using cassini server.  Check out
