I am using the blog module for a newletter of sorts. It works well. Once a week I make a PDF file that compiles the entries for users who what a "newsletter issue" they can print.  Then I make a blog entry and attch that file to it. I want to count the number of times the file is accessed/downloaded. Can I di that? How?  TIA.

As far as I know that is not something that the blog module can currently do as the blog module simply copies the file into a folder under the "blog" folder for your portal, but it is not accessed via LinkClick.aspx which is the DNN component that tracks clicks.

Depending on what your needs are you could possibly move the download link to an instance of the documents module, or possibly use the repository for the entire thing.  I am not sure what your business needs are so it is hard to recommend what is best.
