Hi,

I am facing problem with DNN Installation on windows vista. I am learning DNN not expert.

Can you please provide help how to install and configure DNN on windows vista. I am using .net framework 2.0, Visual studio 2005, SQL Server 2000.

I am trying to set the permissions for my site, but when I look for network service under the security tab it simply does not exist.  Also, when I right click the site in the IIS manager permissions is not an option either.  Can anyone help?

Hi! I followed all the steps in the tutorial and got the following error:

Server Error in '/' Application.

Configuration Error

Description: An error occurred during the processing of a configuration file required to service this request. Please review the specific error details below and modify your configuration file appropriately.

Parser Error Message: It is an error to use a section registered as allowDefinition='MachineToApplication' beyond application level.  This error can be caused by a virtual directory not being configured as an application in IIS.
