Try uninstalling the Store module to see if that takes care of the issue.  This does not appear to be a Vista issue, but a Store module issue.  If you can then compile your project, then download the lastest store module and resinstall to see if the issues comes back,  If it does then please post this as an issue in the stores issues tracker located at http://support.dotnetnuke.com/Main.aspx.

Shawn,

Thanks much for the suggestion, you are correct this is a problem with store module. I did uninstall the "store module" and then re-installed it but no luck - same issue exactly the same problem.

I also visited the link you provided but for some reason I only have capability to register new issue for codeframework and nothing else. Can you please suggest what should I do to be able to create issue for "Store Module"?

Also, I wonder how the thing works fine when first time it builds?

Any and every help is highly appreciated - thanks much!

Post the issue in the Public dotnetnuke project and in the title or description state that this is an issue with the store module.  The team leader will then get it moved to the Store project.  Unless you need the store module, I'd suggest just uninstalling the module for know, so you can get you local site up and running. You also might want to try downloading the previous version of the store module to see if it installs correctly.

There would appear to be no *ascx.cs code behind files at all in the distributed source.

Actually the store module was written in C# hence the .cs files for this problem.
