Hello,
I am looking for a article/content manager module for DNN4.5, with specific features. So far I could not find it, but perhaps I overlooked things. Can anyone help me out?
I am looking for the features:
* multiple, hierarchical categories, so you can have categories, and sub-catagories, up to about 5-7 levels deep
* article can be assigned to multiple catagories
* SEO-friendly URLs, so each article has a URL with the category-tree in it AND with f.e, the module header or article-title or user-specified terms in it
* Each catagory AND each article can get its own meta-tags (keywords, description, title)
* Each article can have comments and rating feature
* Categories can be displayed in full, or starting with any (sub)category and then down x levels. So, we can display a kind of sub-menu on various locations. Preferable with feature by which such a 'sub-menu' is automatically created and 'linked' to its parent-category
* Each category and article with standard features like start/end-date, approved etc.
* More advanced features like author, date etc. would be nice, but not essential
* Some approval-flowline would be nice, although only 'approved' would be sufficient
* several display-modules/methods, like: list all article of a (sub)category; list only titles (and short description) of articles within a (sub)category; full display of selected article; Top-N of most read articles; featured articles etc.
* Search feature within all articles (title only, title and shortdescription, all fields, publish-date etc.)
I found various article/content/news-managers that handle a goed deal of these requirements, but most of them did not have hierarchical-categories/category-tree/sub-categories and/or did not have SEO-friendly URLs. These two requirements are very essential for us to make our website successful and are a MUST..
Do you know of any module that fullfills these requirements. We would be very pleased with your help, as sofar we have not been able to located such a module on SnowCovered nor on the DNN-website..
Thanks for your help and advice,
Pieter
