Can anyone recommend software to simulate at least 10,000 hits a day that works well with DNN and multiple portals?

Thanks

Hi ptleitch,

10,000 hits is not really much traffic at all. Do you mean 10,000 page views, or 10,000 visits?
Reference this article: http://www.opentracker.net/en/articles/hits-visitors-pageviews.jsp

When Stress Testing a website a much better measurement is Requests Per Second (RPS).

You can get a pretty good stress test with just one client machine running Microsoft's free Web Application Stress Tool:

Hi, I've been using the Microsoft tool for a couple months now.  I just found out the hard way that, unsurprisingly, it is not compatible with Vista, even when running in compatability mode for its supported OSs.  Can anyone recommend a stress testing tool that is compatible with Vista?

Thanks,

Rick
