I have AD setup and running on my DNN 4.05.05 Intranet site............ for the most part.

AD users are automatically signed in when they first come to the site.  They can close IE (without logging out of DNN), open a new IE session and auto sign in stills works.  Where the problem starts happening is when a user hits the Logout link at the top of the page.  Once they do this the auto sign in feature completely stops working for them.  They can still sign in using the domain\username format but if they close IE, start a new IE session and go to the Intranet site they are forced to login every time.

I have found that recycling the IIS pool that the Intranet site is running under also allows the auto sign in feature to function again for any of the users that previously hit the Logout link. 

Has anyone else ran into this issue?  Does anyone have any ideas on what could be causing this to happen?

Without stepping through the code to double check I'm going to guess that it's cookie related. When they manually log out I think it writes a cookie that they've logged out and the next time they visit the site (until you cycle the IIS pool) it registers that they've logged out.  It's something that I'll look at changing in a future version if I can do it without having to ask the core to be changed. If the core needs to be changed then it becomes a more complicated and I'll have to discuss it with the Core team.
