Hi There

Can someone please answer the following question for me.

I have been looking at DNN for my company web site (none exists yet) and have found a DNN host that support the "out of the box" solution - they don't provide support for 3rd party modules.

One feature I want on my site is the ability to give my clients a login that will take them to a secure area containing documentation relating to projects I am working on for them. I may need the login to give them access to other secure areas of the site (common to all clients), but they must not be able to access other clients info.

Can someone please let me know if this is possible witht the standard installation of DNN or is it an add on module.

Also, I want to be able to add logos etc my site, can I do this from the control panel or do I need to manipulate the code in some way depending on where I want to put the logo. I am not familiar with the .NET framework so I could not do this, but would need to consider it as it will cost me to get it done.

Any help would be appreciated

Site to be hosted in Aus.

Thanks

technut

You could setup secure pages for each client that then had an instance of say the documents module on it that would allow you to share documentation with only that group.

As for the logo/site design you can upload and change skins as part of the administration functionality, you can even build the skins in HTML.  have a look at the "Skinning Guide" under documentation to learn a bit more.

Once you have defined the placement of the "logo" element in your skin file you can change the logo file via the admin menu at any time.
