Did you try Mono? If yes, can you share your feeling, your experience when use DNN with Mono on Linux/Unix?

I'm completely new with Mono. I think there is many people like me so your experience could help us growing fast.

Does current version is stable enough for business solutions?

When run DNN on Mono, do we need to convert/modify anything in DNN?

I don't think DNN currently works under Mono.  I could be wrong but I think it has to due with some namespaces which are used are not supported in Mono (I seem to recall the authentication providers were the main problem but don't hold me to that).  Several versions ago, I believe somebody did spend some time trying to get it to work, but I don't know how far that got  (and I know the Mono basic compiler really wasn't up to par at that time).  I just don't remember the details but I believe it involved a port to C# among other items but again I don't remember reading full details of anyone getting it to work.

slightly off topic, but I know Mainsoft once ported DNN 2.x to JAVA and PostgreSQL using their Grasshopper tool. (Their DeveloperZone site still uses that conversion in fact)
