Installation stops in a "Installing Database Scripts" stage with the following error:

Installing Database - Version 4.4.0...Upgrading Database to Version ERROR: See d:\hst\webconnectio-ru_ead29f15\http\Providers\DataProviders\SqlDataProvider\04.04.00.log for more information...FAILURE 400 - Conversion from string

Installation is conducted on a remote host. "04.04.00.log" is never created.
What could be the reason for the failure?

Ive got almost the same kind of error

Installing Database - Version 4.4.0...Upgrading Database to Version ERROR: See D:\www\DNNrw\website\Providers\DataProviders\SqlDataProvider\04.04.00.log for more information...FAILURE 400 - Conversion from string "ERROR: See D:wwwDNNrwwebsiteProv" to type 'Integer' is not valid.

 

Cant anyone help???

I received essentially the same error when upgrading from 4.4.1 to 4.7.0.  I then tried upgrading from 4.4.1 to 4.6.2 which worked fine, but when I tried 4.7.0 I still received the same error.

what is your previous version? if you have a version pre 4.4.0, I suggest to upgrade to DNN 4.4.1 and afterwards a second upgrade to current version.
