Thanks Matthias, I can't tell you how many times I tried that myself and couldn't get it to work. Wrong passowrd maybe? Better error messages are needed. Also, the Register as a new user form validation definatly should not trigger on a click from the "Associate with existing account" linkbutton.

Also, like you said issues with logging off, is there any information on the progress of this Authentication Provider?

You must know the Provider is using by Portal not by host, so Host admins can not assocaited a LiveID.  Normaly if you add a wrong password DNN tells it by assocaited a LiveID.

About the existing issue, version I have seen in the release tracker.  I am not working in the LiveID Project, so I have not more information as you.  But it is in the Issue Tracker, and will fixed someone.  It is not an issue, that making the Module not working, so it is minor.

I have tried to get LiveID work but it doesn't!

I hat added http://tim427.serverthuis.nl/Home/tabid/36/ctl/Login/Default.aspx to Windows Live ID portal.

And in the authentic set it on.

But when I click on: LivID > Sign-in
I can click on my Windows Live mail adres. And then I came back by the usual login page

 

What went wrong

Hi Tim,

If you like to speak german that is my favourit language.  So what I see is there are more problems.  You have install your dnn as localhost as the first Domain, so if any try to go to your page from a System with his own Webserver (i.e XP Prof.) the link localhost is calling, and goes to the localhost on the visitors system.

This can be the problem with your LiveID too.

Yeah, that's weird!

I have coupled my domain to my home IP-adress. When is go to my domain; i redirected to my localhost.

It must be my IP-Adress. Can you try to connect directly  (http://82.217.2.49/)

You can not see my page ? Is that right ?

What can i do? LiveID portal does not support IP-Adresses. So I have made a free domain: tim427.serverthuis.nl
