Hi,

I installed DNN on a web host but I'm experiencing some weird behaviour.

When I try to view a page created using the ADMIN account, the windows authentication dialogue pops up. However, pages that are created by the HOST account work fine. See example here (test2 works, test does not): http://www.aerdesign.com.au/default.aspx.

When installing on the web host, I couldn't give the access levels at the root level, so I had to manually give it to all the sub-directories and files in the root directory. Going through the install, I had to choose "Auto" as the "Custom" install stopped at the file permissions stage.

Haven't experienced this problem before working with LAN and localhost. I'm new to DNN and not really a developer so don't know much about authentication etc, but can edit code if need be.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
