I have not been able to create a functional Parent or Child portal using the default 4.4.1 DotNetNuke template. Actually, the portal is created but without an alias name and with -1 pages. The Site Settings module on the Portal Settings page also creates an error. The portal deletes OK.

The same (or very similar) problem has been described in other threads for 4.3x versions of the software related to duplicate Module IDs but supposedly the problem was fixed in 4.3.5.

Anyone have suggestions for modifications to DotNetNuke template so that it will work or an alternate dirt-simple template to create a one page portal?

Thanks for help. The errors follow.

We have the same issue... we create child or parent portals and get the same error.

The portals record is created, but no portalalias record.

Has anyone found a cause or solution to this?
