I hope that someone can advise me.

I have the main DNN Portal and a child portal. Now what i would like is to be able to click on the 'Login' link and enter the child portals user credentials which would then take me into the child portal from the main DNN Portals home page. Is this possible as they all seem to have their own user lists?

You are correct that each portal has it's own users list. As such the Login link on each portal enables you to login to that portal specifically. However, if you want to be on the Host portal and login to the Child portal you can rig it up manually.

Here's how to add a link to login to a child portal from the Host portal:

1. Go the the Child Portal - not logged in.
2. Click on the Login link and copy the URL.
3. Go to the Host portal and login.
4. Add a Links module.
5. Add a new link to the Links module called say "Login Child" and paste in the URL.

Since all of the User lists are separate for each portal, you would need a user to have the same login details on both sites to be able to login to multiple sites with the same info.
