Created a new page with Admin=>Pages and named the page Aux. It gave 404:s so I re-created it a couple of times with the same result, while other page names where OK. So I created a new page with anoter name, checked, all OK, then renamed the page to Aux and the 404 was back Maybe becayse it is 04.00 in the morning and no coffe

I agree, it's almost 4 in the morning here (I don't drink cofee though) and I tried to create the Aux page... and I got the same error, so 4 AM is the culprit, that must be it, what else could it be since I don't drink cofee?

Does anyone has any insight into this 4 AM mystery?

this has already been logged and investigated, it seems to be an .Net issue, that you cannot use /aux in paths. you need to alter web.cofig, not to include page names to omit this error.

FYI: it's a windows folder, as there are certain words that cannot be used as foldername such as AUX, LPT, CON -this has been built into windows since the dos days so we can't work around it, all you can do is avoid using those names. I'll check and see if it's possible to update the friendlyurl provider to automatically change to off when the path contains those folders.
