After upgrading from 4.5.1 to 4.6.0, I am now unable to use the signin.ascx control on my home page: http://www.micounties.org

It breaks the skin and throws the error:

otNetNuke.Services.Exceptions.PageLoadException: Unhandled error loading page. ---> System.Exception: C:\Inetpub\wwwroot\org.micounties\Admin\Security\Signin.ascx.vb(375): error BC30002: Type 'DotNetNuke.Security.Authentication.AuthenticationController' is not defined.

It looks like you need to install the provider somewhat manually.  Here are the instructions: http://www.dotnetnuke.com/Community/Forums/tabid/795/forumid/89/threadid/170019/scope/posts/Default.aspx.  Also, check out Mike's blog post about the AD Provider: http://www.dotnetnuke.com/Community/Blogs/tabid/825/EntryID/1561/Default.aspx.

No dice. I'm getting the same error.

If it helps, we're not using AD authentication. We're using straight up DNN.

did you try to restart the application by adding a blank to web.config file and saving it?
