Yesterday the Host and Admin passwords worked...today they don't. No known changes were made. Searching brought me this information

"To alter the host password, create a new user, and remember the password.

enter ASPNet_Membership table via enterprise manager and copy password and password salt from the new user into the host user record.

Now you can login as host user with the new password."

What is Enterprise manager and how do I enter it?

please always state the DNN version you are running. If you use DNN 4.4.0 - 4.5.5, this issue might be caused by a missing datasbase connection, so the upgrade wizard showed up and altered the encryption key. please restore a recent backup of your web.config file, that contains the original version.

Cheers from Germany,
