Hi

Can anyone advise where the latest source for the AD project is? It does not appear to be packaged with the 4.6 source release and I cant find it on any of the project/dnn download pages.

Now that it is extracted from the core it is perfect time for me to implement some changes that I need to for a client.
Any direction on the source location will be appreciated.

Jason

It isn't available yet. Currently it's going through the Release Tracker and will be available once it passes all the tests.

Oh, well any time frame on when this will be available? I dont need exact but specifics would be good, IE, weeks, before end of october?

Im working on a new site now that requires this functionality and I dont really want to have to drop back to an earlier version of dnn where I have to modify the AD code there and thus the core.

In addition, does the latest code have the fix that was floating around in regards to forcing the provider to always check against AD? If not, can that fix be slipstreamed somehow into the latest release?

Unfortunately I don't know what the time frame will be. I don't know how many of the release group testers can actually test the provider in an AD environment and if that will slow things down. Send me an email at mhorton@telus.net and I'll see what I can do to get you the source.

Yes the provider has the AD fix included.

Mike,

I know I am not part of the core or anything like that, but I would love to help test the release.

I have access to an AD network and personally this upgrade is a MAJOR benefit to my project here at work so I would love to do anything possible to help with testing.  Shoot me an e-mail if there is anything I can do to help.
