which datatype do you use for your columns? make sure to use unicode types, as nVarChar and nText!

Dear leupold,

all Columns datatype are nvarchar.

someone said to me to alter all columns and add COLLATE Arabic_CI_AS

Is it true ?!

no, do not change collation, you will a bunch of problems! besides, collation is used for comparison and links only.

Thanks leupold,

I wondered these data appeared correctly in my site but if I send it with my costum mailing list module sended all arabic words as ??????? but english words coorectly.

Also I note that : no results if I searched with arabic words in dnn search control

I think there is relation with these two problems

if this issue shows up only in your mailing list module, it might be an issue with that module. is it possible, that the developer didn't prepare it for Non-ASCII characters?
