I have just complete my first dnn v 4 installation and I have a new mdoe bar at the top of the page even when your not logged in. Not very professional looking. I have been through the settings and can not find a way to remove it. Can you help?

do not grant page edit permission to "all users" or "unauthenticated users" roles.

No edit permissions are set other than administrators at the page level? If you are not logged in a click edit you dont get the edit page anyway? Maybe its a bug with the version I downloaded?

in this case, one of the modules on the page grant public editing and in not configured adequately. For this module, set cache time = -1 in module settings.
