Hello,

I am creating a custom installer for my DNN portal. I am stuck on how to handle updates of the portal format. I have a process to create a fresh install using a portal template (my modules are installed first) I produce from the source portal. When I change the source portal layout, is there a way to apply the new formatting to an existing portal? The portal template files seem to only be used when creating a new portal. I don't want to delete a portal and create a new one just because my module locations moved around.

Any help is much appreciate

there is no support built-in for transferring module position between portal, i.e. you need to create your own solution, that cares for it.
