Has anyone seen this problem where after editing the text and clicking on update it would not respond and give back an error:

Line: 36
Char: 598
Error: Invalid argument.
Code: 0
URL: http://www.domainname.com/Providers/HtmlEditorProviders/Fck/FCKeditor/editor/fckeditor.html?InstanceName=dnn_ctr1125_EditHTML_teContent_teContent&Toolbar=DNNDefault

Also, it wouldn't respond when clicked on Cancel, Preview or on the Source icon within the FCK toolbar.

Any idea what's the culprit in this situation, DNN, FCK, skin or something else?

I'm using FCK v1.0.9 on DNN v4.4.1

Thank you,

Waldis

I will always suggest you to upgrade to solve issues. Remember that each version patches issues found in the previous version

Your error is not FCKeditor problem, it is a text/HTML problem. I remember that I saw that error before but I don't remember what version was it.

I have Text/HTML v3.3.0, if I want to upgrade to v4.5.0, then I need to upgrade my DNN installation, which I'm not quite ready yet. Do you have any clue that you could give me as of where within text/html module the problem originates?

Thanks,

Waldis

Waldis,

Locopon stated, that it is not an error of FCKEditor, but of the Editor provider, which is now part of the DotNetNuke framework installation, but might be also installed and upgraded separately in previous DNN versions.

Now I'm completely confused since, as I stated earlier, I have FCKeditor Provider v1.0.9 installed and that is the latest version of the Editor Provider... unless I'm missing something

Thanks,

Waldis
