There's a bug in the survey module:

To reproduce:

1) Setup the survey on a page with other modules (e.g. Text)

2) Set the Container personalisation to 'None' on the any module on the page (Under Settings/ Advanced)

3) Click 'View Results' on the survey

All containers where personalisation/ visibility = none will display a missing image placeholder.

I've a client who is ranting and raving about this becuase it really mucks up a poll he is running on his home page.

Any Ideas.

Ian

I have the same problem and I've tracked the error to the fact that the small [+] container expansion graphic, if set in "Page Settings > Basic Settings > Visibility > None" it should normaly load a transparent GIF so that you don't see the control (I assume that is what the INVISIBLE part of the script means?). Anyway, when you change the view of the Survey from the Survey to the Results, the page re-draws but the heading parts of the Survey Module do not render properly and a generic - but unbroken - picture icon is shown, indicating that an image resource has not rendered. This has the effect of expanding the heading height and leaving a big fat "X" graphic icon in the right hand side of each module with a visible container frame heading where there should be nothing.

The error seems to be in the rendering of the "invisible" graphic that should load but seems to be missing when the page re-draws.

Now the thing is, this is a problem ONLY in Internet Explorer 6.0 (IE). It does not occur in Firefox (Mac or PC), Safari (Mac) or Camino (Mac).

BTW, This same [+] graphic is used in the Forums module and it also does not always re-render when you expand or collapse it within a forum message. Also, this issue is only on IE6.

The same problem occurs after sending a message with the Feedback module.
