Hello all,

I'm in need of a way to search within the Core Events module data (title, catagory, description).  I know that the core search functionality will search within the Events module, but I would like to provide a search field that not only searches only within the Events module, but specifically within just one instance/sub-calendar.  Is this possible with the core?  If not, is there a 3rd party module that can do this?  Thank you very much for your time.

You can use module from http://components.init.si/ . Module is GUI for database tabeles/views and has built-in search options. DNN is database driven application so almost all data is available in db tables. With some configuration you can use it for any database table (forms, events users, portals etc) like in your case.

Pril,

Thank you so much.  Just set up that module, it is very nice.  My only suggestions would be add an actual "Search" field, instead of having to type in a filter criteria for one particular column then filtering.  Also, it would be great to be able to filter on more than one column simultaneously.  Let me know if I'm missing anything.  Thank you so much.
