e-mail

Hi,

When the superadministrator accepts the file that a user upload, the sistem must send an e-mail of confirmation.

In my webSite build wiyh DNN4.05.03 the e-mail do not start.

In host setting>>advanced settings>>SMTP settings I set the SMTP server, and the username and Psw. When I click on the test button the pop up tell me that the e mail has started but i do not receive nothing.

What can I do?

Thank you and scuse me for the bad language.

Did you change the host and admin email address to legitmate email addresses? I think the host account goes by host@localhost by default. Changing it to a legitimate email account usually fixes the problem.

Thankyou mikeh for your answer.

I have modified the addresses as you have suggested to me.
Now the host user receives the warning email.
While the user who carries out the upload still does not receive messages.
