i know tab (page) name and through it wanna get tabID for Tab(page) navigation

i know from dnn db point of view GetTabName is sp being used but i dont know exactly which function in dotnetnuke could be use for it so i don't need to make any method explicitly to call this stored proc

or you may guide me any other good way to tab (page) navigation

I don't know what you really whant to do, but if that you want is to redirect by a static Link, you can include in your a skin the SOLPARTMENU (the dnn One) and show the directions for each page, after that apli the links where you want and erase the Component, or aply other Skin without this.

I think it's maybe an easyer solution for your problem, another think you can do is to show the DB info.
