Hi guys, i installed DotNetNuke 4.6 and added some content to my website. I used default settings for Search and tried to index my content.

However i couldn't get search result items in Search Results page.

if i try to search for dotnetnuke Search results are empty. I am able to see page and module but, content of search results module is empty.

Whatever i use as keywords i get no search results and it is annoying.

I checked database and following tables has items:

  • SearchCommonWords
  • Search Indexer
  • SearchItem
  • SearchItemWord
  • SearchItemWordPosition
  • SearchWord

I also went to Admin > Event Viewer (in DNN) and noticed that i have no errors. I have completely error-free website. The only thing is Search Results not working at all.

Any ideas?

Greenflash,

 

I noticed the same thing on a few of my sites after reading your post. A few work flawlessly, other behave as you said. The commom thread is the FriendlyURL provider from Ventrian. If I disable Scott's FURL provider the search works great...I will post this issue on the Ventrian forum.
