Hey everyone,

I've got a mini-project here that'll probably either be really easy, or really a pain.  I need to create a link to downloadable file that is dependent on the user-login.  This is for a sales force and the file is their weekly commisions and total earnings, so it's important that no one else has access.  Does anyone know a module or method that would make this somewhat painless?

Thanks in advance!

Assuming that you're modifying the files manually behind the scenes, and or that they are updated manually with the same filename, you could create a page with the built-in documents module (a copy of the module for each user) and set the view permissions for each module to a specific user.  You would have to do this only once, assuming: 1) The filenames do not change.  Each user would see only their module if the view permissions on the module were set just for them.

That might work, however, I was hoping I'd be able to only have one interface for the person actually managing it.  I like the idea, and I'm going to see if I can create that along with a seperate program that would handle the file uploading.

Thanks!

The other thing you might consider is a document management module from Snowcovered.Com
